A charity with a stitch-my-square twist

I have recently gotten involved in a charity project I thought you guys might want to contribute to. It's called The Schuyler Blanket Project (Rav link), and it provides comforting blankets for families who have lost a child during pregnancy, birth, infancy, or beyond. It started after a woman we knew through a pregnancy board lost her daughter just 40 minutes after she was born. A bunch of us made squares to put together into a blanket for her. Afterwards, she herself, and all of us, wanted to keep the project going, putting blankets together for other grieving families.
The project blankets are very similar to what Stitch My Square does: everyone makes an 8x8 inch square (or several) and sends them to the project sponsor, who sews them together into one big blanket. Unlike Stitch My Square, you don't get a square in return, of course.
Anyway, it's a good cause and a good project, especially if you're looking for a way to make a big difference in a small way. Unfortunately, we always have blankets going, and always need squares, so we always need more people to help out. I hope you'll consider joining this cause -- we have two blankets "active" right now and could really use some help.
If you want to learn more, see the Rav link above, or visit us on Facebook or our home page.
